We are committed to providing high-quality care and services while maintaining strong financial stewardship.Position Overview: Wesley Village is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an entry-level Accounting Associate position. This role offers part-time hours with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting or billing career while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment and working alongside an experienced leadership team.Key Responsibilities:Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processesSupport resident billing, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private payAnswer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriatelyAssist residents and families with billing and general questionsSort and distribute incoming mailPrepare and make bank depositsPerform general office and administrative duties as neededQualifications:Coursework, training, or experience in accounting, finance, or billing preferredBasic understanding of accounting principlesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismStrong communication skills and willingness to learnPreferred (but not required):Experience in healthcare billing (Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance)Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or PointClickCareExperience with data entryWhat We Offer:Hands-on training and mentorshipOpportunity for growth into a full-time accounting roleMeaningful work supporting a mission-driven organization
