You'll manage patient intake, handle critical administrative functions, and guide patients and families through the registration process with professionalism and empathy. While this is a non-clinical role, your impact is essential to the overall patient experience and operational flow of the ER.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassionCollect and verify patient information for registration and admissionExplain and assist with completion of intake forms and required documentationValidate insurance details and communicate coverage information clearlyManage patient records while maintaining strict confidentiality standardsHandle incoming calls, maintain organized filing systems, and support front desk operationsCollect payments and provide general assistance to patients and visitorsCommunicate wait times, policies, and procedures effectivelyPRN (As-Needed) CommitmentThis is a PRN position requiring a minimum of 12 hours bi-weekly, based on departmental needs. Additional hours may be requested by your supervisor to meet operational demands.
