Accountant (Entry-Level)

Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing daily bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, processing transactions, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage Intacct (preferred, but not required), along with strong problem-solving and communication skills to support multiple branches.Responsibilities include:Perform daily reconciliation of high-volume bank transactions to ensure accuracyMaintain and update reconciliation workbooks for multiple branchesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies related to misapplied payments and other issues as neededServe as the primary contact for branch inquiries regarding deposits and banking mattersProcess customer refunds and record transactionsUtilize Sage Intacct for bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and journal entriesAssist with the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingConduct profit and loss (P&L) reviews to assess financial performance and identify variancesAssist with other projects and tasks, as assigned and neededQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume transaction environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to interact with branches and resolve banking inquiries.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred qualifications include:Experience with multi-branch accounting and reconciliations.Familiarity with accounts payable and journal entry processes.Proficiency in Sage Intacct (or similar financial software).Previous experience in a customer service-oriented accounting role.We offer:Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packageAffordable health care packages that include medical, dental, vision and life insurance401K, 6 Company Paid Holidays, Paid VacationFun team celebrations year-round!Ability to earn a flexible schedule based on performance!If you are a proactive and detail-driven accountant looking to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply!
