Material Handler

Role & ResponsibilitiesThe position involves manually transferring materials using hand tools, pallet jacks, or hoist-attached lifting devices, including operation of sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach lifts. Key duties include unloading, stacking, and loading materials onto pallets, racks, or carts, following designated routes within the department. The role also entails manual handling of parts from racks or bins, performing safety checks on equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.Additional TasksAssist in training others, perform preventative maintenance, and complete other duties as assigned, maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Use electronic scanners for material transactions and work in compliance with safety regulations.Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience. Ability to follow established procedures, work efficiently under pressure, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Ability to perform physical tasks required for material handling is essential.
