SCHEDULE: Hybrid work schedule
Position Summary:
This position is intended to be a hybrid role whose main duties will shift throughout the year based on the education sales calendar and business needs. It will include elements of customer care, and various forms of support for marketing and sales. The candidate will ensure that all customer issues are handled in a timely and professional manner. The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, take initiative, and meet deadlines. Consistent communication, and follow-up with other departments is essential.
Customer Care 60% of time
Provide sales support to customers, sales reps and dealers. This position will be involved in the pre-sale, order processing, post-sale, and after-delivery support to the customer, reps and dealers.
Coordinating customer orders from multiple plants.
Provide necessary documentation, specifications, quotations, pricing assistance, and support in procuring sales tools and literature.
Maintain internal and external relationships consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy, and desired image of the company. This includes all customer and interdepartmental contacts.
Responsible for initial order entry, all changes and accuracy and timely entry of all orders.
Cross-train within the Customer Service department.
Catalogue your correspondences with the customer in the project management system.
Maintain emails and project coordination while traveling in support of rep force.
Participate in sales rep training as needed.
Sales and Marketing Support 40% of time
Assist with CRM data entry and reporting
Assist with website distribution of website leads reporting.
Assist with marketing sample fulfillment and finish sample inventory
Track sample & mockup orders for completion dates.
Gather completed materials, verify the product, and prepare for shipment by packaging and loading.
Deliver, setup, and tear down products in support of the local rep at 10 to 15 tradeshows and mockups a year.
Assist Business Development Supervisors with quoting and project management.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
A two-year degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience; or combination of education and experience.
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Suite are required.
Communication skills, both written and verbal, along with telephone etiquette skills.
Conflict resolution skills are desired.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability and desire to travel and physically set up and tear down tradeshow exhibits
Able to lift up to 75 lbs. from the floor to table height.
Approximate amount of time away from the office is 20%
