Purchasing & Planning SpecialistLocation: Onsite, Cincinnati OhioSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMWe are seeking a Purchasing & Planning Specialist to support production operations through material procurement, inventory planning, and supplier management. This role works closely with engineering, accounting, and production to ensure materials are available on time and aligned with cost and scheduling goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage purchasing of materials and components to support production needsMonitor inventory levels and maintain accurate recordsCoordinate with engineering on Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material planningBuild and manage supplier relationships, quotes, and negotiationsSupport production schedules through effective planning and cross-functional communicationIdentify cost savings and process improvement opportunitiesQualifications3+ years of purchasing, planning, or inventory experience in manufacturingStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentLean manufacturing or Kanban knowledge is a plusBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred
