Traveling Maintenance Millwright Fremont, NE (Eastern Nebraska)This is a full-time, salary non-exempt role. ADM GrainWork That Feeds the WorldAs a Traveling Maintenance Millwright, you'll support grain handling operations across 12 locations in eastern Nebraska, Iowa, and southwest Minnesota, making sure the equipment that moves grain from field to market stays running safely and reliably. You'll be based out of one of our eastern Nebraska locations, including Fullerton, Newman Grove, Wisner, Lincoln, or Columbus, with a preference for Fremont. You can expect roughly 10% overnight travel, with ADM covering all transportation and travel expenses.Position ResponsibilitiesPerform corrective and preventive maintenance on grain handling equipment and facility systemsDirect installation and revision of plant and facility equipment, working alongside mechanics or contractors as neededTroubleshoot electrical and electronic controls, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and PC-based systemsFabricate fixtures and equipment from drawings or design conceptsUse computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software to record maintenance activities and parts usageApply proficiency across multiple maintenance disciplines, including welding, HVAC, control circuits, piping, and fluid pumping systemsUse basic maintenance testing and measuring equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and other technical materialsIdentify and source components needed to resolve mechanical breakdownsMaintain and organize ADM-provided tools and service truckPosition QualificationsFive or more years of hands-on maintenance experienceFormal technical training in related technical areas desiredExperience with grain handling equipment is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license; ability to pass a U.S. DOT physical (a commercial driver's license is not required)Forklift operation experience and familiarity with manufacturing environmentsStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborativelyAdheres to and promotes all safety programs, policies and proceduresWorking ConditionsTravel to 12 locations across eastern Nebraska, Iowa, and southwest Minnesota, with approximately 10% overnight travelWork is performed primarily outdoors in hot and cold seasonal conditionsMust be comfortable working at heights and performing confined space entriesAvailability required for emergency or unplanned work outside of scheduled hours; increased overtime is expected during fall harvest monthsExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
