The Accounting Manager position, working with our Venture Capital and Private Equity clients, is an operational and financial manager position that collaborates very closely with Senior Management.If you are a seasoned professional with excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong experience and skills in the area of Finance & Accounting, we are looking for you.Job Responsibilities:Review journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual period closings and financial statements and associated reports for Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds, as well as associated entities (general partner, management companies, special purpose vehicles, etc.)Review and summarize complex investment transactions, including portfolio company exits with cash and/or stock considerationAssist with portfolio company valuations using a variety of valuation methodologiesCoordinate with auditors and tax advisors on various tax filingsPrepare and/or review LP allocations including carry calculations and monitor compliance with complex partnership agreementsPrepare and/or review investor communications for capital calls, distributions & liquidity announcementsAssist with compliance related issues, such as state and local tax filings and registrations and compliance with foreign regulatory agenciesInteract with and respond to limited partner requestsResponsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of team members including monitoring work product and assisting with any questions the employees may have to achieve team objectives.Perform special projects as requestedDesired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5-7 years' related fund administration and/or private fund experience, with public accounting background preferredCPA preferredPrior payroll experience preferredStrong organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete projects in a dynamic environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrior management experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a high degree of flexibilityProficiency with multiple software applications preferred (QuickBooks, Excel and other Office applications)Proficiency with Dynamo preferredBenefitsThe company recognizes your contributions to our growth and allows you to participate in a comprehensive compensation program which includes 401K with employer match, health benefits and our bonus program.
