Sales EngineerPosition Overview We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Sales Engineer to drive sales of industrial machinery and metalworking solutions. The ideal candidate will blend engineering knowledge with commercial acumen to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and support projects from initial inquiry through to implementation. This role supports business growth by building relationships, delivering technical demonstrations, and working with internal teams to ensure manufacturability and successful product delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business and grow existing accounts by identifying customer needs, qualifying opportunities, and proposing value-driven machinery and metalworking solutions.Deliver technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, and on-site evaluations to customers and prospects.Prepare accurate quotations, technical proposals, scope documents, and specification sheets in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.Work closely with product engineering and production to ensure proposed solutions are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with Lean manufacturing principles.Provide pre- and post-sale technical support, troubleshooting, and training to customers and channel partners.Manage sales activities and pipeline using CRM systems; track forecasts, pricing approvals, and contract terms.Coordinate with project management and field service teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment.Gather and relay customer feedback to product development to influence product improvements and new feature development.Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites; develop targeted proposals and competitive analyses.Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in machinery, metalworking, and manufacturing processes.QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably selling industrial machinery, metalworking equipment, or manufacturing systems.Strong understanding of metalworking processes, machinery, and manufacturing workflows; experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Proven ability to translate technical features into customer benefits and to develop compelling technical proposals and quotations.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical and commercial stakeholders.Familiarity with CAD drawings, technical specifications, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation.Experience using CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Willingness to travel to customer sites and trade shows; valid drivers license.Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Benefits- PTO - Medical, Dental and Vision Plan- 401k - Yearly Bonus Email Your Resume In Word ToValeria.Barrutia@cybercoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
