This opening will mark the resurgence of luxury nightlife experiences in New York with dynamic food and beverage venues and programming that will make Faena the ultimate destination for the sophisticated traveler to New York.Job DescriptionLiving Room is a glamorous, night-only venue with outdoor space, serving bespoke and signature cocktails, crave-worthy small plates, and an eclectic wine list. Evenings come alive with nightly curated live music, artfully designed to enchant and inspire. The Living Room Server Assistant supports the service team by maintaining the flow of the Living room, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring that each table receives seamless and attentive service. This role is fast-paced, guest-focused, and team-oriented, requiring a strong sense of awareness and a polished presence. Server Assistants help uphold the Living Room standard by executing behind-the-scenes service that enhances the overall guest experience.This full-time position has an hourly rate of $18.00 plus tips.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist servers by delivering food and beverages in a timely and accurate mannerRefill water glasses and beverages without being promptedClear plates, glassware, and silverware efficiently and discreetlyEnsure tables remain clean and organized throughout serviceReset tables promptly following guest departureKeep service stations and side work areas fully stocked and cleanMaintain floor cleanliness and respond immediately to any spills or hazardsMonitor guest cues and assist servers with any special requestsCommunicate clearly with servers, runners, hosts, and kitchen teamAttend pre-shift meetings and stay informed of menu updates and specialsSupport the opening and closing duties of the service teamUphold Faena standards in appearance, demeanor, and serviceQualifications1+ year of experience in a high-end or high-volume dining environment preferredStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to follow directions and anticipate team needsFriendly and composed under pressureFood Handler Certification required or obtainable prior to startBilingual in Spanish a plusSKILLSFast, efficient, and quiet movementClear communicator and dependable teammateAbility to multitask and maintain focus in a dynamic environmentCommitment to upholding luxury service standardsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTEndure various physical movements throughout the work areasAbility to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spacesRemain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shiftMedium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAdditional Information
