Merchandiser

OverviewPerforms Merchandising activities and constructs displays of Company products in retail accounts as requested by Sales Representatives or retail customers. Installs promotional merchandising point-of-sale to achieve display objectives. Services customers with special product deliveries on an emergency basis. This position is a safety sensitive position that requires the employee to be able to perform job-related task without a direct threat to their safety or the safety of others. This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms merchandising and display activities in retail accounts as requested orEnsures maximum space allocation in merchandisableParticipates in the development of retail accounts through displayDelivers product merchandise whenPerforms merchandising warehouse duties asAdvises the Sales Merchandising Manager and assigned Sales Representative of service problemsUnderstands the safety rules and requirements in theImmediately report to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager any safety related incident, injury or illness.Travel 60% to 80% by Daily driving may involve distances up to 100 miles.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.6 months -1 year in Merchandising or as WarehouseValid state motor vehicle operator'sAbility to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State lawsPerform other duties as assigned.Physical RequirementsPhysical demands with activity or condition existing an occasional to rare amount of time amount of time include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stoopingAbility to frequently lift or move 40 to 50 pound cartons and stand for extended periods of time.Safety RequirementsAble to perform job-related task without hindering the safety of employee or othersThis role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence.
