You will guide a team of production associates to deliver safety, quality, service, and cost results while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work-force to improve business results.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee daily production operations to ensure quality, productivity, and cost targets are metSupport sanitation operations to maintain a clean, compliant, and food-safe environmentTrain, develop, and support production associates to ensure consistent execution of standard work and job responsibilitiesCoach and reinforce plant rules, policies, and procedures while promoting respectful workplace practicesReview team performance, communicate expectations, and provide feedback to drive performance improvementSupport plant and company safety programs and ensure adherence to established safety requirements, including lockout tagout, personal protective equipment, and confined space protocolsManage Adherence, Attainment, and Productivity metrics to deliver production targetsPartner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiativesParticipates in developing the plan for the day and delivering daily line performanceDrives execution of standard work to target for daily direction setting resultsFacilitates and reacts to non-routine situations.Ingredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of supervisory experienceExperience working in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and loss elimination principlesWorking knowledge of plant safety standards and proceduresExperience using SAP preferredPhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.CompensationPay Range: $63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
