Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Day and Evening Shifts Available About Quick Fill: Quick Fill is a Mississippi-based gas-station and convenience-store company offering high-quality food, friendly service, and a clean, community-focused environment. We’re expanding our food-service operations and are looking for reliable, motivated Kitchen Staff to join our team. Position Summary: The Kitchen Staff member helps prepare, cook, and serve food items for Quick Fill’s in-store deli and hot food program. This position supports daily operations, maintains cleanliness, follows food-safety standards, and ensures customers receive fresh, high-quality products quickly and consistently. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items (breakfast, lunch, and daily specials). Follow recipes, portion standards, and cooking procedures consistently. Maintain proper food-safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred). Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, and food-prep surfaces. Restock ingredients, supplies, and grab-and-go items throughout the shift. Monitor food temperatures, holding times, and quality of products. Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen checklists. Communicate inventory needs and equipment issues to management. Deliver friendly, fast service to customers and assist front-end staff when needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in a kitchen, deli, or food-service environment preferred (gas-station or convenience-store food programs a plus). Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and organization. Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Must be dependable and punctual. ServSafe or equivalent food-safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
