Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)

Salary: $62,000 to $73,000Why This Opportunity Stands Out Our client is a growing, PE-backed manufacturing organization located in the Sun Prairie area Brand new role created due to company growth, offering strong visibility and impact Reports directly to senior leadership including the CFO and Controller, providing strong mentorship and development Company has received Top Workplace awards locally and nationally over the past two years Significant growth trajectory with recent acquisitions and additional M&A activity underway, including international expansion Flexible hybrid work environment (after onboarding) with a modern headquarters Casual, team-oriented culture with company events, food trucks, and strong employee engagement Opportunity for upward mobility as the company continues to scale Exposure to ERP implementation and process improvement initiativesKey Responsibilities For The AR Specialist Process all accounts receivable invoices, statements, and receipts Conduct account research, credit checks, and new customer account setup Prepare and maintain AR reports, including aging and reconciliation to the general ledger Identify process improvement opportunities and implement adjustments as needed Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances and discrepancies Maintain compliance and accuracy within AR and vendor portals Assist with collection and management of sales tax exemption certificates Support additional accounting and administrative duties as assignedQualifications For The AR Specialist Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred 2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems (ERP experience preferred)
