The team is AI-centric, fast-paced, and delivery-focused. They want engineers who have worked in the tech space (Meta, Google, Amazon, etc.) who use AI tools daily to build faster, ship smarter, and solve problems creatively not just write perfect code.Client would love to see candidates with engineering backgrounds from FAANG and FAANG adjacent organizations including large scale Big Tech, AI first platforms, and cloud leaders like Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Stripe, Databricks, and OpenAI where engineers are building production systems at scale and actively working with AI.What You'll Do:Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot in an Agile environmentDevelop new features and optimize existing systems for performance and reliabilityWork with relational and NoSQL databases to support high-traffic applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact, not just codeRequired:What We're Looking For:3+ years backend Java engineering experience (Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservices)Strong understanding of ORMs (Spring Data, Hibernate) and database designHands-on AI tool usage (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) in real development workflows not just experimentationPersonal projects or side products you've built and launched we want to see your GitHub, live apps, open source contributions, or anything that shows you build outside of workSolid grasp of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, security best practices)Ideal Candidate:Has shipped products independently (SaaS tools, Chrome extensions, open source libraries, revenue-generating projects, etc.)Works with AI as a co-pilot to accelerate delivery without sacrificing qualityThrives in fast-moving environments where speed and iteration matterBrings entrepreneurial energy you build things because you want to, not just because you're told toInclude Links To:GitHub profile or portfolioLive products or projects you've builtExamples of how you use AI tools in your workflow
