Our organization helps clients build successful brands from preclinical phases through launch and to formulate and implement brand-specific strategies and programs for in-line brands. Services include brand strategy, market assessment; brand positioning, launch planning, lifecycle management, thought leader identification and engagement, and identification/development of marketing programs and sales force training/communication.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Manager, Medical Affairs to join our growing Medical Affairs service line. This role is well suited for an experienced medical affairs or medical communications professional who combines strong scientific expertise with emerging people leadership and client-facing experience.As a Manager, you will support key client engagements, contribute to high-quality scientific deliverables, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with senior leaders to help advance our Medical Affairs offerings. This is a Toronto-based hybrid role, requiring in-office presence three days per week.What You'll DoSupport and, in some cases, lead client engagements by providing scientific input and guidance across therapeutic areas and deliverablesManage and mentor junior team members (e.g., medical writers, analysts), supporting their development and day-to-day performanceEnsure scientific and editorial excellence across all deliverables, maintaining high standards for accuracy, clarity, and complianceContribute to the development of medical affairs content, including medical education materials, training resources, publications, scientific platforms, and congress materialsCollaborate with cross-functional partners (Project Management, Analytics, Strategy) to deliver integrated, client-focused solutionsSupport business development efforts, including proposal development and participation in client pitchesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency within the Medical Affairs service lineStay current on industry trends, evolving client needs, and best practices in medical affairs and scientific communicationsBuild trusted relationships with clients by proactively addressing their needs and supporting strategic objectivesContribute to internal initiatives that enhance team collaboration, quality, and innovationRequirementsAdvanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc required)4-6+ years of experience in medical communications, medical affairs, scientific affairs, or related roles in pharma, biotech, or consultingExperience managing projects and mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced environmentStrong scientific acumen with attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to evolving prioritiesStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ownership of deliverables and accountability for client satisfactionCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across disciplinesInterest in growing leadership skills and contributing to service line developmentWhy You'll Love Working HereA culture that values integrity, collaboration, achievement, and entrepreneurial thinkingMeaningful opportunities for professional growth within a growing consulting firmHybrid work model with a Toronto office and in-office collaboration three days per weekCompetitive compensation, performance-based bonuses, and professional development supportComprehensive health benefits and generous vacation policiesA high-performing, supportive, and connected team environmentSalary $110,000- $140,000 CAD per annum Total RewardsSixsense is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment accommodations in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility of Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
