And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so doesour business.To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTubePurposeTo orchestrate sectional work activities to assure efficient manufacturing of a quality product that meets or exceeds expectations.ResponsibilitiesPerform changeovers and completes changeover setup formArranges assistance for changeoverResponsible for the cleaning for blenders/material changesMix or oversee the mixing of resins in middle and small areaCompletes paperwork for production sheet, labor log, scrap sheet and daily functional check sheet. Make sure scrap gets weighed and recorded on shift paperworkSet all secondary equipment (printer, punches, etc.) and test functionalityWatches for stack light alertsSupports and complies with safety and environmental guidelinesMake machine adjustments as needed for Packer/InspectorCalls for medical assistance and applies first aid if trainedCompletes maintenance request formsCloses orders in systemWatches rates and applies correct variance code in systemCollects, weighs and documents all scrap; enters in systemBill of Materials adjustments and correctionsWorks a 12-hour day, 4 days a week; weekend work is mandatorySecondary Responsibilities IncludeContinue to check run rates.Performs quality checks front to back (resins, silos, computer info., blender settings, etc.)Ensures tools are in proper locationEnsures axillary equipment is in working condition (press, vents V-board, etc.)Ensures the ink room is in proper orderCleans around extruders and blendersDocuments any maintenance and safety concernsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBasic math skillsSolid computer skillsGood English skills; Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Vietnamese)Experience with blown film extrusionAbility to troubleshoot & solve problemsAbility to provide guidance and leadershipOur ExpectationsWe Expect Our People To Be Guided By The Amcor Way And Demonstrate Our Values Every Day To Enable The Business To Win.
