Competitive Gymnastics Coach

Job Description Rigert Elite Gymnastics is hiring an experienced, positive, and athlete-centered coach to join our competitive team staff. Our greatest current needs are in upper-level Xcel and Optional team coaching, with possible opportunities in mid-level Xcel as well.We are looking for a coach with strong knowledge of athlete development, skill progressions, shaping, basics, and safe spotting. This position is ideal for someone who values strong fundamentals, positive team culture, and building strong relationships with athletes, families, and fellow staff.Responsibilities:Coach assigned competitive team groupsSupport athlete development through strong basics, shaping, and skill progressionsHelp athletes prepare for routines, competitions, and long-term success in the sportMaintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging training environmentCommunicate professionally with athletes, families, and fellow staffAssist with additional team groups as needed based on experience and availabilityQualifications:Previous gymnastics coaching experience requiredExperience coaching Xcel and/or Optional levels preferredStrong knowledge of gymnastics skill progressions and safe coaching practicesAbility to safely spot athletes appropriate to assigned training groupsPositive, dependable, and professionalStrong communication and teamwork skillsSchedule:Evening and some weekend availability will be needed.
