Learn more about this agency Duties Help WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience with Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response to optimize business results and customer experience by: Leading and managing complex program operations and strategic initiatives involving coordination across Federal agencies, executive leadership, and external stakeholders to support organizational priorities and mission objectives.Analyzing and evaluating complex program operations, management processes, and policy initiatives to identify operational gaps, improve organizational effectiveness, and provide recommendations supporting executive decision-making.Prepared executive-level briefing materials, reports, legislative analyses, correspondence, and communication products for senior leadership on policy, public affairs, and programmatic initiatives.Recommending strategies to improve policy program implementation and evaluations. Advises management of unique conditions and issues which affect strategic functions and provides guidance on interpretation and implementation of new and revised legislation, policies, regulations, and procedures. Qualifications WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Analyzing and evaluating program operations, policies, management processes, and organizational activities to identify issues, assess impact, and recommend improvements supporting agency objectives and executive leadership decision-making.Preparing and presenting executive-level briefing materials, reports, correspondence, communications, and analytical products on programmatic, media and messaging initiatives, legislative, and policy-related matters for senior leadership.Coordinating and managing high-visibility projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders to support program implementation and mission requirements.Researching and interpreting laws, regulations, policies, and guidance and providing recommendations to support program implementation, organizational objectives, and compliance requirements.
