Interior Designer

Position: Interior Designer, Union Office Interiors, Wilmington, MASummary: Union Office Interiors is a dynamic, fast paced, growing office furniture dealership and we are looking for a motivated designer to join our Wilmington, MA team. This is a highly interactive position. The right candidate will work in collaboration with the sales team, clients, Allsteel & other industry partners, & team members to lead the design process from development to installation.Key Responsibilities Include:Work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentManage multiple projects across many business sectorsProduce fit plans, block plans, detailed floor plans, 2D/3D drawings, renderings and final installation drawingsCollaborate with sales to determine best product solutions and to create visual content for RFP/ bid package responsesGather pricing and detailed specifications on systems and ancillary furnitureApply for all product specials as the solution requiresLocate floor cores and tel/data ports on plan to properly coordinate with furnitureAttend client meetings, A&D meetings, proposal presentations and project meetings as requestedAssist with field dimensions as requested by the Project ManagerReview final product specifications to ensure accuracy of work, finishes and product applicationAttend vendor presentations, product training and industry eventsRequirements and Skills:BS or BA in Interior Design from an accredited institution2+yrs of experience in the commercial furniture industryProficient in AutoCAD and CET. Experience in CAP 20/20, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office preferred.Knowledge of building codes and ADA regulationsAbility to read and understand floor plans and other related technical drawingsCollaborative mindset, working seamlessly with sales, project management and customer serviceMaintain excellent work ethic and team player mentalityOrganizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time efficientlyCreative problem solver with attention to detailValid drivers licenseHybrid role based in Wilmington, MA (mix of on-site and remote work)Benefits:Health and Dental coverage401KPaid holidaysPaid vacation timePaid sick timeSalary commensurate with experience
