Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Design, build, and maintain a Common Automation Platform for CI/CD, security, and infrastructure automation.• Develop reusable automation frameworks, templates, and pipelines for enterprise-wide adoption.• Integrate platform capabilities using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.• Embed security controls and DevSecOps best practices into platform services and workflows.• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to provision and manage scalable environments.• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, and apply AI/ML to enhance automation.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).• 4+ years of relevant experience in building or supporting shared platforms, developer platforms, or automation frameworks.• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms like AWS.• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python or Bash.• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and IaC tools like Terraform.• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation, U.S. citizenship required.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($87,100 - $157,450) plus potential for bonuses.• Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems impacting national infrastructure.• Engage with modern cloud-native and AI-enabled capabilities in a Scaled Agile environment.• Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and technical leaders.Apply via Haystack today!
