SUMMARY
The Secondary ELA Teacher creates a dynamic classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. The teacher establishes positive rapport with students, motivates them to develop critical literacy skills, and fosters personal growth in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The teacher is committed to ensuring that students meet or exceed State and local standards and provides targeted, differentiated instruction based on students' abilities

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Required: Valid Colorado teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary English Language Arts (Grades 7-12).
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Strong understanding of the Colorado State Standards for English Language Arts.
Proven ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of students.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to engage students through various forms of instruction, including digital and traditional approaches.
