This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering outstanding desktop and end-user support.As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the daily technology needs of both onsite and remote employees by maintaining desktop systems, supporting hardware and software deployments, managing IT assets, and ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience.If you are ready to bring your technical expertise and customer-first mindset to a dynamic IT environment, apply today to join our team as an IT Support Specialist.What You’ll DoManage deployment and recovery of hardware for employee onboarding and offboardingAdminister and maintain PC/laptop imaging and setup processesMaintain accurate IT inventory and asset tracking recordsProvide onsite and remote support for desktop hardware, peripherals, and software applicationsTroubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems and related applicationsSupport cloud-based applications including Microsoft Office 365Respond to technical support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systemsPerform hardware upgrades and software installations on desktops and laptopsProvide guidance and training to end users on hardware and software usageCollaborate with Level 1 support teams to manage and resolve escalated ticketsResearch emerging technologies and provide recommendations on hardware/software solutionsContribute to the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and user experience initiativesProvide occasional off-hours support as neededRequired QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForExcellent customer service and technical troubleshooting skillsStrong written, verbal, and organizational communication abilitiesExperience supporting Windows operating systems and applicationsExperience supporting cloud-based platforms such as Office 365Experience with hardware upgrades and software installationsFamiliarity with desktop support and ticketing toolsFamiliarity with Mac operating systems and applicationsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesPositive, proactive, and team-oriented attitudeStrong relationship-building and collaboration skills across all organizational levelsPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience1+ year of experience in a technical support or IT help desk environmentWhy Join OBHG?Because what we do has purpose and saves lives!
