Brief DescriptionCAMS is seeking a highly capable Field Implementation Manager (IM) to provide daily on-site leadership, monitoring, and support for construction activities on major power generation and energy infrastructure projects.The IM serves as CAMS’ day-to-day field representative, ensuring work is executed safely, correctly, and in alignment with engineering documents, project requirements, and Owner expectations. This role is critical in identifying issues early, supporting inspections, validating field readiness, and ensuring construction progresses efficiently toward turnover milestones.The IM works closely with EPC supervisors, plant personnel, the Project Construction Manager, and broader CAMS project teams to maintain disciplined field practices, ensure transparent communication, and uphold project standards.Merom Generating Station is a 2-Unit, 1080-MW rated coal-fired power plant.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesField Execution MonitoringMaintain a continuous on-site presence to observe construction activities, work sequencing, and field conditions.Verify adherence to site safety plans, quality expectations, construction methods, and approved procedures.Identify field issues or deviations early and escalate promptly through the Project Construction Manager.Support real-time issue resolution and ensure accurate field interpretation of drawings and work packages.Safety & Quality SupportParticipate in safety meetings, walkdowns, and field inspections to reinforce CAMS’ commitment to safe execution.Support quality processes including inspections, punch list development, and corrective action validation.Confirm workmanship meets applicable specifications, drawings, codes, and industry standards.Assist with pre-commissioning and turnover readiness inspections as required.Coordination & DocumentationInterface daily with EPC foremen, superintendents, and craft leaders to maintain alignment and resolve task-level issues.Support LOTO coordination, access/permit planning, and operational interface activities within an operating facility.Produce accurate, timely daily activity reports, field observations, and updates to issue logs.Contribute to contractor performance evaluations, progress assessments, and turnover documentation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent field experience.5+ years of field experience in industrial, power plant, or heavy construction environments.Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, quality principles, and field execution standards.Ability to communicate clearly and document field observations with accuracy and professionalism.Ability and willingness to work full-time on-site in a high-intensity construction environment.PreferredExperience working within operating power generation facilities or similar industrial environments.OSHA 30 or equivalent formal safety training.Experience supporting outage-related construction, tie-ins, or schedule-critical field activities.Working ConditionsPower generation facility environmentExposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, fumes, heights, and uneven terrainExtended hours and shift work may be requiredSummaryApplicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business.
