Intermediate Architect

Arquitectonica is an award-winning, design-focused architecture and planning firm with a worldwide practice of 500+ employees located in eleven offices. Our New York office is seeking Architects with 5-10 years' experience to join our team. Projects include Luxury Residential, Office, Hospitality, and Mixed Use/Retail.Position DescriptionAs an Intermediate Architect at Arquitectonica, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the design, documentation, an d construction of our projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and have the opportunity to join our company for a career that promises to be both challenging and rewardingRoles and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand both architectural design and documentation processes, including all project stages.Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materialsDevelop and produce construction documents and detail sketchesGenerate and execute red-lined revisionsCollaborate and coordinate with project consultantsAnalyze and prepare program, space planning and area calculationsWork independently and with your team to meet project budgetary and schedule constraintsParticipation in regular project team, client and contractor meetingsRegular communication with the designated Project ManagerConstruction Administration experience and capabilities preferred but not requiredMinimum Requirements:Professional accredited degree in Architecture5+ years' continuous professional post-graduate working experienceFully proficient using Revit and BIM360 including: Use of Multiple Worksets and GroupingAwareness of Visibility Graphics and View TemplatesKnowledge of Publishing, Packaging, and Consuming ModelsAbility to use 3D modeling software, including RhinoFamiliarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam RevuExperience in all phases and aspects of a projectExperience in detailing and construction documentationExperience with multifamily and mixed-use projects required, hotel experience is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team membersProblem solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learnCollaborative and professional work ethicLicensure or ARE progress with licensure expected within 2 yearsEmployee BenefitsHealth insurance401KPaid vacation and sick time on accrual basis, paid holidaysCompensation:Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and abilities.This is a full-time exempt role based in our New York office.
