Title: Network AdministratorLocation: Bethesda, Maryland (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractStatus: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleNetwork Administrator role supporting federal LAN/WAN infrastructure in a fully onsite environment, responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network systems with 24/7 on-call support.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a federal environmentTroubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access pointsPerform root cause analysis and document findings for incidents and service requestsCreate and maintain network diagrams, topology maps, and technical documentationParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency support across multiple sitesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or high school diploma with relevant network administration experience and certifications3+ years of experience in network administration or related IT infrastructure roleHands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking environmentsStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS, and other core network protocolsExperience with network troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and log/traffic analysisAbility to obtain and maintain Public Trust (NACI) clearance in the U.S.Compensation$35–$43/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
