You will have the opportunity to grow your career and skills along with the company from the very start.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for architecting and implementing the platform layer (Bootloader through system software) on a large scale embedded system. This will also include image and software lifecycle management - packaging, upgrades, high availability, and telemetry/debug infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to design and implement the system from the ground up.Required Experience5+ years experience working with the Linux Kernel, drivers, and platform bring-upExperience working with HW vendors on requirements and specificationsExperience with SW lifecycle management (packaging, upgrades, etc.) on an embedded systemExperience with k8s, Helm charts, Ansible, and other cloud orchestration technologiesExperience with bare-metal provisioning technologies (DHCP, PXE, IPMI)Understanding of Secure Boot chains (bootloader, GRUB, dm-verity, and IMA)Experience with SELinux policy creation and tuningStrong C, bash, and python programming skillsExperience developing hardware validation and stress testing suitesExperience deploying observability and metrics stacksStrong communication and documentation skillsFIPS and CC certification experience is a plusRust programming experience is a plusWe offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $250,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Most candidates can expect an offer within the range listed above.
