Channel Development Manager, Distribution
The Impact You'll MakeDanfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Distribution Channel Development Manager to support assigned sales regions. This role provides leadership and strategic direction for channel partners, facilitating growth dialogues and ensuring alignment with Danfoss’ business objectives. The position works closely with Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Managers to ensure coordinated execution of channel programs and initiatives aimed at capturing market share.What You’ll Be DoingKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Drive Strategic Channel InitiativesDevelop and execute strategies to generate incremental growth, profitability, and market leadership through increased engagement and alignment with channel partners.Evaluate Distribution CoverageAssess the strength of distribution networks in various sales regions.Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners to enhance Danfoss’ market coverage.Engage Senior Leadership of Channel PartnersFacilitate strategic discussions to align mutual needs and expectations.Lead and manage the Danfoss Distributor Council.Leverage Market AnalyticsAnalyze distributor addressable market potential.Direct and align channel resources to address gaps and opportunities proactively.Oversee Channel Performance ManagementImplement standardized, objective, performance-based audits.Manage compliance plans, corrective actions, and promotion/demotion processes.Serve as Regional Channel Development ContactAct as the single point of contact for channel development in assigned regions, providing program expertise and strategic guidance.What We're Looking ForAt Danfoss, we believe diversity and inclusion foster creativity, innovation, and better decision-making. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
