Director Business Intelligence and Analytics
Own the design and development of a comprehensive Domo reporting suite covering Content Performance, Advertising Revenue, and Affiliate Monetization, ensuring alignment with enterprise KPI definitions and Looker semantic modelsContribute hands-on to dashboard development and analysis in Domo while leading and mentoring a team of analystsLead cross-functional root-cause analyses of performance shifts (e.g., traffic declines, RPM fluctuations, affiliate revenue changes), identifying macro drivers such as traffic mix, engagement quality, monetization efficiency, and content velocityAnalyze digital advertising and affiliate performance metrics (RPM, CPM, CTR, EPC, revenue per session) to identify revenue optimization opportunitiesEnsure enterprise KPIs (sessions, engaged sessions, revenue, RPM, EPC, etc.) are consistently defined, reconciled, and delivered through executive-ready reportingPartner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics initiativesLead and mentor a team of data analysts and BI professionals, fostering continuous improvement and innovationImplement automated reporting and analytics workflows to improve efficiency and accuracyCommunicate insights clearly across the organization to support data-driven decision-makingDefine and standardize reporting methodologies to ensure consistency and clarity in data interpretationContinuously enhance reporting frameworks and analytical approaches to improve speed, clarity, and business impactSupport executive performance reviews with clear, actionable reporting and insightsCollaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data infrastructure supports effective analysis and reportingQualifications (What We’re Looking For)10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with a strong focus on reporting and insights deliveryProven experience leading teams in delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and reportsStrong expertise in Domo (required), with experience validating data against Looker semantic models and building executive dashboardsExtensive experience defining and managing KPIs and reporting standards across business functionsDemonstrated ability to conduct deep-dive analyses that drive measurable business impactExperience analyzing digital advertising and/or affiliate monetization performance using metrics such as RPM, EPC, CTR, and CPMStrong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making through dataStrong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing analytics teamsProficiency in SQL, Excel, and data manipulation toolsExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., BigQuery, AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions is a plusBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
