Surgical Tech Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,086 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7am-3:30pm) Experience: Travel experience required. License: Certification required. Certifications: Must have NBSTSA or NCCT certification. Must-Have: - Ortho experience - Scrubbing experience - Davinci experience - Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications exam - BLS certification Description: The qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. They will assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the department. The candidate will perform technical duties related to scrub personnel, including precise and efficient responses to all situations. They will assist with departmental work as assigned. Surgical technologists have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room. They must ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely. The role includes assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. Candidates must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in. Weekend, call, and holiday work are required.
