All team members are expected to excel in Relationships, Communication, Quality Service, Operational Excellence, and Innovation & Growth, contributing to the firm’s success through collaboration, exceptional service, and continuous growth.Position SummaryYour Impact (Essential Duties):Assist in forensic accounting investigations by gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and reconciling accountsSupport the preparation of initial case documentation, exhibits, and financial summaries for litigation and dispute resolution mattersLearn and apply foundational valuation methodologies under the guidance of senior team membersAnalyze financial statements, tax returns, and other business records to assist in damage calculations and valuation analysesDraft clear and concise summaries, reports, and presentations for internal and client reviewCollaborate with team members to maintain organized case files and ensure accuracy in documentationPerform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual and team performance and overall firm productivityYour BackgroundDemonstrated interest in forensic accounting, litigation consulting, or valuation analysis through coursework, internships, or related experienceAccounting track: Certifications: CPA, CFE, CFF, CVA, CBA, or ABV license or eligible. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldParalegal track: Florida Registered Paralegal or similar credentials or eligible. Education: Associates degree in related fieldUnderstanding of basic accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial statementsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial databasesAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow procedures and deliver high-quality, reliable workAbility to work independently while proactively seeking support as needed to maintain efficiency and productivityFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlinesReasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job Sorren is an equal opportunity employerWhy Choose Us?
