Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Merrimac, Massachusetts. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, assisting students with disabilities, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with staff and families, adapting lesson plans for diverse learning needs, delivering instruction to middle school students, and monitoring student progress. Qualifications Experience in Special Education and working with students with disabilitiesStrong teaching skills, particularly at the middle and high school levelExcellent communication skills for collaborating with students, colleagues, and familiesAbility to create and implement individualized education plansKnowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and classroom managementCertification in Special Education or related field is preferredBachelor's or Master’s degree in Education or a related field is a plusCommitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
