Scheduling Coordinator
Overview:
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of scheduling procedures according to the Time & Attendance policies to meet the staffing needs of the facility.
Responsibilities:
§ Develop and maintain daily, weekly, or monthly schedules for employees, and departments.
§ Coordinate staff shifts, ensuring no overlaps or conflicts.
§ Update schedules as needed in response to changes, such as employee absences, vacations, or urgent appointments.
§ Communicate with staff members and clients to confirm availability and schedule requests.
§ Resolve any scheduling conflicts by working with the affected parties to find suitable alternatives.
§ Provide timely updates on scheduling changes and ensure all parties are informed promptly.
§ Ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant team members.
§ Track employee attendance, tardiness, and absences, and report discrepancies to management.
§ Ensure proper documentation is completed for time off, leave requests, and schedule changes.
§ Assist with the preparation of payroll by providing accurate scheduling and attendance records.
Qualifications:
§ High School Diploma or Equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field is preferred.
§ Experience: 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, administrative coordination, or a similar role.
§ Proficiency in Scheduling Software: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, or dedicated scheduling software.
§ Excellent Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple schedules and appointments while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
§ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with employees, clients, and management.
§ Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise.
§ Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scheduling, attendance records, and other related administrative tasks.
§ Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
