Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities Lead and develop a software engineering team responsible for the software development life cycle, evaluating team performance and output quality Work and coordinate with global technical teams and 3rd-party partners Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables, as well as identify opportunities and mitigate risk Oversee the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software solutions Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and QA processes Mentor and train team members, providing technical guidance Monitor and control cost, schedules, and mitigations related to development Prepare and report on integrated project progress, addressing issues or barriers Align with agile development processes, including sprint and related planning Ensure software solutions are scalable, secure, and perform optimally Requirements Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of experience in software development life cycles, configuration management and best agile software engineering practices At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership" Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, and Node.JS Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies 2+ years of experience as technical manager of a product deployment team Familiarity with the use of AI in software development practices J-18808-Ljbffr
