This role plays an important part in making a good first impression for guests, so the attendants must always convey a friendly and professional attitude, be great at communication, and be able to delight guests by providing exceptional customer service!We Are Currently Looking For aSplish Splash Cabana Check-In AttendantRoles & ResponsibilitiesWelcome and greet all guests with a smile as they approach the cabana areasComply with and enforce all Splish Splash and cabana-specific policies, procedures, and protocolsCheck guests in and assist them with finding their assigned cabana(s)Provide guests with accurate information regarding cabana services, amenities, and/or protocolsEnsure accurate transactions and accounting for daily salesCommunicate well with guests, co-workers, and leadership regarding cabana policies and proceduresEnsure that the Check-In area remains clean and safe for our guestsAssist with keeping cabanas clean and presentable for guests throughout their visitResolve and address guest concerns in a courteous and prompt mannerPromptly communicate issues or complaints to supervisor, as neededEnsure that all cabana areas are free of tripping hazards or any other threats that could potentially injure a guest or another employeeAssist other departments and positions throughout Splish Splash, as neededAll other duties assigned by leadershipPay Rate: $17.50 / hr.Education & ExperienceNo education requiredPrevious work experience is not requiredLanguageAbility to read, write, and speak fluent EnglishSpanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.RequirementsMust be at least 14 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 10 pounds or moreWorking ConditionsSubject to working in both outdoor and indoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditionsSome exposure to dust and chemical cleaning agentsTeam Member BenefitsWorking at Splish Splash is about making people happy!
