This role supports the Project Manager while actively contributing in the field to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.8 Reasons to Join NJGCBPassionate about building custom homesWork hard, play hard cultureTeam-oriented environmentHigh standards and modern construction practicesStrong company valuesSecurity, growth, and abundance mindsetCulture & perksGreat teamKey ResponsibilitiesProject Support & Field CoordinationAssist in managing multiple projects while maintaining budget, schedule, quality, safety, compliance policies, and procedures.Communicate with clients and provide weekly progress updatesConduct daily site visits and take daily progress photosAssist with documentation and required paperworkSubcontractor & Crew ManagementSupport management of subcontractors and in-house crewsActively schedule and follow up with subsOrder materials and coordinate vendorsReceive and review material receiptsReturn excess materials to control job costsQuality & Risk ControlConduct detailed punch lists at every stage of constructionTake preventive measures to protect homes from floodingEnsure proper installation and risk mitigation measures (including sump systems) to prevent site damage.Ensure work meets plans and specificationsQualifications5 to 7 years of experience reading architectural plans and building new homes5 to 7 years of experience supporting or managing multiple projects5 to 7 years managing subcontractorsGround-up residential construction experience required. Remodel-only experience without ground-up exposure will not meet role requirements.Strong understanding of architectural plans, site plans, elevations, and framing plansValid driver's license and reliable transportation. Vehicle allowance available for candidates with suitable work vehicles.Hands-On ComponentThis is not a desk-only role.
