Physical Therapist - School Setting in Muskegon, MI

A contracted physical therapist position is available immediately to provide essential school-based services in Muskegon, MI. This opportunity serves a high school setting across four districts, supporting a caseload of 44 students. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and will conclude at the end of the school year.Key Responsibilities:Conduct physical therapy evaluations consistent with student IEPs.Deliver direct, consultative, and monitoring physical therapy services.Manage and direct the work of a physical therapy assistant.Collaborate with educators and staff to support student mobility and access within the school environment.Qualifications:Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance.Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and provide individualized care.Strong organizational and communication skills.Experience directing PT assistants is preferred.Location:High school facilities serving four districts in Muskegon, MI.This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, contributing to student development and success through specialized physical therapy services.
