Lead Angular Developer (Angular 16 | W2 Only | In-Person Interview Required)** McLean, VA AND Fremont, CA (Local Candidates Preferred) 12 Months Contract W2 Only (No C2C) $60–$65/hr on W2 Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Angular Developer with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Angular 16 for a 12-month W2 contract opportunity in McLean, VA. This role requires technical leadership, deep front-end expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. ️ In-person interview is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale web applications using Angular 16 Provide technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews to front-end teams Architect scalable, reusable, and high-performance UI components Work closely with UX, backend, and DevOps teams Ensure best practices for performance, security, and maintainability Troubleshoot complex UI issues and drive root-cause analysis Mentor junior and mid-level developers Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of overall IT experience Strong hands-on experience with Angular 16 (mandatory) Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS Experience with RxJS, NgRx, Angular CLI, and REST APIs Strong understanding of component architecture and state management Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum environments Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest)
