Overview: Riverview Landscapes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and have the ability to lead a team effectively while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This Crew Leader position will be responsible for managing and performing all field operations at a large educational campus. This includes all landscape maintenance services, such as mowing, pruning and leaf removal. Landscape crew would consist of a crew leader and two laborers. This is a working supervisor performing landscape maintenance services on site. Responsibilities: Manages and schedules labor, equipment and material to accomplish production scheduled within established budgets Helps perform all daily activities and works beside crew members Ensures all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines Maintains proper inventory of materials, equipment and other supplies Supervise employees, keeping attendance records, enforcing proper uniform and safety equipment use and approving time cards Maintain day to day working knowledge of contract and work order in progress Daily reporting of work performed Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years related experience Clean driving record and valid drivers license Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping practices. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of lawn care techniques. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects. Expertise in tree care, gardening, horticulture, and plant identification. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
