Server/Bartender

Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender and Server, you will help to create a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, helping floor staff when able and ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in our establishment by not only mixing beverages but also engaging with customers and enhancing their overall happiness while drinking and dining with us. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport to enhance their experience. Upsell drinks and menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the Toast ordering system and cash register, process payments accurately, and handle cash transactions responsibly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Requirements Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink costs. Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus, particularly in relation to food pairings with beverages. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. A passion for mixology and willingness to learn about new drink recipes and trends.
