Job Description SummaryThe Global Sourcing Intern will support the Global Sourcing Manager in managing day-to-day sourcing activities for apparel products. This internship role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is eager to grow within global sourcing and supply chain operations.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate data entry and maintenance within Product Life Management softwareSupport the Global Sourcing Director & Managers with daily communication and coordination with overseas vendorsParticipate in sourcing and cross-functional meetings as neededAssist with product cost analysis, including reviewing and tracking cost componentsTrack, follow up, and coordinate product samples required by the businessCommunicate and collaborate with the overseas Hong Kong office to support sourcing initiativesAssist with general administrative and sourcing-related tasks as requiredActs as liaison between PD/Design, Merchants, and Vera Bradley Hong Kong (VBHK) teamsPartners with PD, Design and Merchants to manage key trigger dates/key deliverables and attend Product Review SessionsParticipates in production updates during cross-functional meetings and weekly review of open issues. Other Job responsibilities as assignedEducation And SkillsBachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain or related fieldStrong proficiency in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills highly preferred) with advanced knowledge of Power Point. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced and growing environment.
