Commercial Real Estate Litigation Associate / Counsel -6 Years Law Firm Experienced

Our client, a prominent New York real estate law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel with 6 or more years of sophisticated commercial real estate litigation experience to join its Litigation Group. This opportunity is designed for a senior litigator seeking substantial responsibility, direct client exposure, active courtroom involvement, and the ability to independently lead sophisticated matters from strategy through resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial real estate disputes, construction litigation, partnership and ownership disputes, injunction proceedings, and other high stakes business litigation matters.The ideal candidate will have substantial experience drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, managing discovery and e discovery strategy, preparing witnesses for hearings, trial, and arbitration, negotiating settlements, and handling matters in New York State Supreme Court and arbitration settings. This role requires a litigator capable of independently managing active matters while serving as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams. The firm is seeking a serious minded attorney with strong strategic judgment, writing and communication skills, courtroom confidence, and the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously. You must possess the maturity and professional presence to work directly with sophisticated owners, developers, investors, management companies, and other commercial stakeholders. Experience supervising junior attorneys, managing workflow, and operating with a high level of accountability and responsiveness is highly valued.This role is particularly well suited for a commercially minded litigator seeking greater ownership, meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client access, and a more entrepreneurial practice environment.
