Role Description The Property Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities for multiple properties as part of Rabbit Creek Sustainability’s operations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chestertown, MD. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements. The Property Accountant will collaborate with team members to maintain accurate accounting records and support the organization’s sustainability-focused developments. Qualifications Proficiency with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting best practicesExperience in Accounting, including managing Journal Entries and maintaining accurate recordsStrong understanding of Finance and its application within property managementAttention to detail and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlinesProficiency in accounting software and toolsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrior experience in property management or sustainability environments is a plus
