Opportunity & Schedule Details Schedule: 24-hour on-call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM). Current Open Dates (Urgent Need): January 16, 5:00 PM ??? January 18, 7:00 AM February 6, 5:00 PM ??? February 8, 7:00 AM Duration: Multiple dates available throughout 2026. Volume: Average of 2???3 cases per 24-hour shift. Facility System: Utilizes EPIC EMR system. Required Procedures & Expertise Candidates must possess proficiency and experience in a wide range of procedures, including: Robot-Assisted Thoracic Surgery, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, EUS, Bronchoscopy Tracheostomy, Thoracotomy, Decortication, Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms Management of advanced lung disease, esophageal/lung cancer, and rib fractures. Candidate Requirements Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Required). Active Virginia Medical License (No Exceptions). Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
