Position: Electrical Project Engineer
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will:
· Collaborate on an engineering team throughout the lifecycle of building projects, contributing to meaningful designs in power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
· Engage in technical tasks, including system calculations, equipment selection, creating construction documents, project specifications, cost estimation, and interdisciplinary coordination.
· Utilize emerging technologies like Revit, Navisworks, LiDAR, Drones, Point Clouds, 360-cameras, and laser scans to create innovative, accurate solutions.
· Support system evaluations and technical report creation, expanding your understanding of how design impacts construction.
· Advance in project management and leadership opportunities as your expertise and knowledge grow.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
· 2-5 years of experience in the building engineering industry.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Team-oriented and client-responsive, with strong time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with design projects for healthcare and higher education clients.
· Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods.
