Security Guard

Security GuardShodair Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated and attentive Security Guard to help maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to protecting our campus, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring the well-being of everyone who enters our facility. Key ResponsibilitiesSafeguard hospital grounds to support patient safety, prevent theft or violence, and protect property through active patrols and surveillance monitoring. Manage visitor access, greet guests, issue IDs, and maintain accurate logs. Operate, test, and document hospital equipment while completing assigned security tasks and preventive maintenance. Support clinical teams with video monitoring, high-acuity patient situations, and staff safety during shift changes. Serve as first contact for emergency responders, provide on-call assistance, and assist other departments as needed. Document incidents, communicate with security leadership and administration, and comply with all regulations and the Shodair Code of Conduct. Competitive wages- This position starts at $18.51/hour. Requirements High school diploma required. 02 years of experience in security, customer service, or a related field. Ability to work under direct supervision and handle basic issues, referring complex matters to senior staff. Beginning to working knowledge of security practices; hospital or healthcare experience is a plus.
