Senior Interior Designer - Commercial

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer - Commercial, based in Schaumburg, IL. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for commercial spaces, including space planning, development of interior concepts, and creating detailed construction drawings. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals are achieved, select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to enhance functionality and aesthetics, and oversee the execution of design projects from conception to completion.QualificationsProficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create aesthetically pleasing and functional environmentsExperience with Construction Drawings and Architecture to produce detailed project documentationKnowledge of FF&E selection and specification to enhance the functionality and design of commercial interiorsStrong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple design projects simultaneouslyBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldFamiliarity with design software such as AutoCADExcellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactionsNCIDQ Certification or equivalent credentials is a plus
