Wire ProcessorPosition Title: Wire Processor Pay Rate $25.00The Wire Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of domestic and international wire transfers while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and credit union policies. This position serves as a key member of the wire team by providing exceptional service to members and minimizing risk through diligent verification and monitoring of wire activity.Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers accurately and within established deadlinesVerify wire transfer requests, member information, and supporting documentation to ensure authenticity and complianceReview transactions for potential fraud, suspicious activity, and regulatory concernsProcess internal transfers accurately and within established timelineEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), OFAC requirements, and other federal and state banking regulationsAssist with daily balancing, reconciliation, and reporting functions related to wire operationsRespond promptly to member and internal staff inquiries while providing excellent customer serviceParticipate in audits, examinations, and compliance reviews as requiredIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recommend process enhancementsQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of banking, credit union, wire processing, or financial operations experience preferredExperience with wire transfer systems and core banking platforms is a plusKey Competencies: Strong understanding of wire transfer procedures and financial institution operationsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionEffective verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking softwareAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
