Duties include placing calls to faculty, mid and senior level administrative leaders, and senior staff to attract talent to the University. The role operates with autonomy and accountability within the Recruiting Team and the UGA Search Group.ResponsibilitiesActive recruitment of top talent to the University; approximately 70% of time on outbound outreach via phone, email, and other communications.Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan; interact with senior leadership across the University.Contribute to candidate research and manage workload with independence.Ensure timely collection of application materials and provide executive consultation to candidates during the interview process.Research, identify, and engage qualified candidates through peer and aspirational institutions, associations, and subject-matter experts.Coordinate with the Process Management Team as needed; maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications: One or more years of recruiting experience in a higher education settingStrong communication, organization, and customer service skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlinesProficiency with MS Word; familiarity with MS Excel; ability to create management reportsExperience handling confidential information and maintaining professional standardsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesEffective written and oral communication across all levels of a large organizationHigh output of daily outbound calls; ability to work autonomously with accountabilityCustomer service excellence in an academic environmentAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage sensitive information and adapt to changing circumstancesPhysical Demands and Other DetailsPhysical Demands: Normal office environment.
