Job Description CNC OperatorLocation: Dexter, MI Shift: 2ndPay: Up to $20/hr Job SummaryAre you a mechanically inclined, detail-focused CNC professional looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing high-quality parts, supporting shop operations, and keeping production running smoothly.What You'll Be DoingAs a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include:Operating CNC machines to produce quality parts while maintaining production levels.Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues to keep machines running effectively.Performing routine maintenance, including basic cleaning, oiling, and general machine upkeep.In addition, you will also be expected to stock machines with materials, change tools and inserts as needed, read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, and support other shop tasks as assigned.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of CNC experienceAbility to read blueprintsAbility to read micrometers (o.d., i.d., calipers)Able to lift 50 lbs. or moreBasic computer skillsSkills:Mechanical aptitude: Essential for diagnosing issues and maintaining machines.Quality focus: Ensures all produced parts meet customer and production standards.Strong communication & teamwork: A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.Experience with Tsugami, HAAS, or FANUC controls is a strong plus.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity for both short-term and long-term employment.
